Sunday Morning Prayer Service

New Year's Eve is a great time for us to look back and thank God for how we saw Him work in 2017 and a great time to begin asking Him to continue His work into 2018.  So in lieu of our normal weekly Sunday morning worship service we will be closing out 2017 and heading into 2018 with a prayer service.  This is still very much a worship service!  Any time that those created by God look to Him in gratitude and appreciation, as well as in humble dependence, it is an act of worship.  It is our way of saying to the Father, "We have seen your grace at work among us and we are so thankful!" and "We want your glory to be known even more in our church and in our community, and we can't accomplish that in our own power and strength.  So please work through our weakness to make your name great!"

If we want the Father's presence and power to accompany anything that we do, then we have to strive to undergird all of our efforts in humble, dependent prayer.  So while we may not be singing songs of corporate worship or diving into an in-depth study of God's word on this particular Sunday, we will definitely be worshiping Him and magnifying Him through our time of prayer!  We hope that you will make plans to join us!
